The grapes for this wine cames from the estates of Quinta da Cotovia, Quinta de Vila Meã and Quinta de Paços,all in Barcelos.
Soils: These soils are mainly granitic with medium grain and rich in quartz and partially with schist is Quinta de Vila Meã (Loureiro)
Weather: hot summers and cold winters with no frost or snow.
Training system: The training systems are mainly in the ascending simple row at 1,0 mt high.
Grape varieties: Loureiro 80% and Arinto 20%.
The grape production adopts EU certified environmentally friendly practices of "Integrated Protection".

Oenology Rui Cunha
The wine cellar is located in Quinta de Paços, in Rio Côvo, Sta Eulália, Barcelos, Portugal. The grapes are hand harvested, destemmed, and part of them are submitted to pellicular maceration for five hour, with temperature control. After being decanted the must is fermented in stainless steel at low temperature and the wine stays on top of the slim lees with "batonnage" until bottling.

Fugas 7,5/ 10 (...) in the nose, this Casa de Paços reveal the fresh fruit sensations. In the mouth, and felling it's density, we understand that this is a different Vinho Verde. A fat and an appealing wine,with good acidity, with great gastronomic potential which is worth trying.
