Vinification

Vinification is done at the Quinta de Paços cellar, in Rio Côvo Sta. Eulália, Barcelos. The grapes are destemmed and immediately pressed. The must is fermented in stainless steel vats, at controlled temperature. The wine remains on its fine lees for 4 months.

Clear, light yellow citrus colour. Aromas and flavours of flowers, tropical fruits, grape, passion fruit, and mint. Fruity but dry, harmonious, light and elegant. Goes well with fish, Asian food, sea fruits and salads.

This single grape variety wine made from proceeds from the Quinta de Paços vines. This was a variety very much in use in the region in the late XIX century.
